Honda CRF450R
The CRF450R will surely become the king of the flyways having so many race-dominating
advantages. Explosive power comes from the liquid-cooled, four-stroke,
four-valve single cylinder engine, which is housed in the most
advanced aluminum chassis design. This power combined with a
remarkably light 102kg machine delivers a power to weight ratio
that has been the sole domain of two-stroke motocrossers - until
now!
Other performance features include a unique 'Unicam' valve
train providing the light weight of a compact single cam drive
and the optimum combustion chamber shape for maximum power
at all engine speeds and an ultra-flat and lightweight 'mini-skirt
piston'. The use of weight-saving materials such as titanium,
improves the power-to-weight ratio producing a class-leading
machine.
In fact the CRF450R is everything that's needed to deliver
that instantaneous rush of big power required to compete and
conquer, in the world's most competitive class of off-road
racing.

Honda CRF450R Features
Powerful new four - stroke engine produces out 55 bhp at 9000 rpm and
36 lb./ ft. of torque at 7,000 rpm. Power is produced across
a wide rpm band for easy-to-control operation.
The twin-spar aluminum frame and swingarm utilise Honda's
unmatched CR aluminum frame design expertise to ensure an
optimal balance of compliance, rigidity and strength.
An F1 type forged, 11.5:1 compression 'mini-skirt' piston
is 112 grams lighter than a conventional design, revving quickly
while maintaining excellent cylinder sealing and high rpm
power.
